THE 7 WAYS TO BUILD MOMENTUM FOR AN UPSURGE EXPERIENCE IN LIFE USING THE ISAAC ENCOUNTER TEMPLATE.
ISAAC is a fit Prophetic Character for the UPSURGE momentum message revealed here and that is also amidst other characters that had same and similar experiences and encounters with their maker, Jehovah. See…Genesis twenty six verse twelve through fourteen; Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him. Before the Genesis thirty verse forty three, in verse one and two of Genesis twenty six, God appeared to him and inspired him by a supernatural revelation just before the upsurge in Genesis thirty verse forty three; “And the man increased exceedingly, and had much cattle, and maidservants, and menservants, and camels, and asses.” This testimony is also confirmed in Psalms one hundred and five verse twenty four; “And HE increased HIS people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.”
Isaac in the midst of the famine heard what normal men could not hear from above and that was also because he was from above by the covenant provision; the linage of Abraham as we are in Christ. If you are truly born of the Spirit of God, you are from above and above all. You hear differently, you listen differently to hear what the Spirit of God is saying to the Church and act uniquely to what you heard. This is the best way to express greater Him in you, Jesus Christ. From the encounters and the upsurge testimonies of Isaac, I present to you, the 7 Upsurge Momentum of ISAAC.
1.
Learn to hear from God always against
all odd; Hear from
God and not your problems, hear from God’s revelation and not your present
situation. Many Christians give hears and much attention to their challenges more than the spiritual investment required to hear from God. Isaac heard from God. Proverbs one verse five “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and
a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:” Proverbs nine verse nine “Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will
increase in learning.” I will keep repeating this Rhelma until
hearing from God becomes major priority in all endavours of life for many
believers, especially “Christians” very crucial. Learn to hear from God and how
to learn and give heed to what you hear and that is; A. God will always speak beyond you, B. The moment God speaks,
your senses will react against what God says to you, C. tame your senses after
analyzing because your sense and sensitivities are permitted to react, but don’t allow it rebel against
the voice of God, D. It will be tough for the senses to comprehend, but be bold to apprehend and reprehend your sense domination. E.
If you are not use to hearing the voice of God, struggles and argument will
supervene, but be careful at this point. F. Begin prayers and bring it to the
obedience of Christ and after investing your patience and time, G.
Conviction will arise in your spirit and receive grace not to play down on the
conviction of what you heard in Jesus name Amen!.
2. Always make decisions in Favour of God; yes, it is the only way especially when you are
learning to obey God and not religion(man), unless you didnt hear God speak. If you often have struggles and
arguments making decisions in your walk with God, whether or not you are sure of the outcome since you are convinced you heard God, favour Heaven with your decision, the favour is actually yours in the end. Whether or not it is convenient, whether or not the problems or
challenges are complying, no matter the situation resolve before time to make
decisions in Gods favour. Esther four
verse six “Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan,
and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also
and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the
law: and if I perish, I perish.” Daniel thirteen
verse seventeen to eighteen If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery
furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve
thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Sir/Ma, let your nay decision be in favour of Divinity, let also your yes choice be in favour of your source of life and strength, that is the wisdom of God when you hear Him and your are convinced He is the one you heard. I see you receiving supernatural capacity for your upsurge in Jesus name Amen!
3. Don’t confuse yourself with the voice of man; the voice of man will always tell
you to quit from responsibility. Naturally, responsibility makes the human mind
weak and weary, it threatens man’s comfort and comfort zone. God’s voice will
not ask you to quit responsibility because God knows that that is the only way
to build you UPSURGE muscles, especially in Kingdom responsibility, I don’t
mean religious responsibility. So, be discerning and sensitive especially when
a divine task calls to MAKE you outstanding in life… first Samuel three verse eight The LORD called Samuel a third time, and Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, "Here I am; you called me." Then Eli realized
that the LORD was calling the
boy. So Eli told Samuel,
"Go and lie down, and if he calls
you, say, `Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.'" So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
4. Put to use what you hear from God: because what you don’t use will be useless. If you made the
decision of what was supernaturally and prophetically revealed to you in line with your spirit man
connected, then make the move and take prophetic actions. Isaac’s sudden UPSURGE was
because he put to use what God told him, the same with David. Genesis twenty six verse twelve “Then Isaac sowed in that
land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.” Proverbs
eleven verse twenty four “There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that
withholdeth more than is meet, but it
tendeth to poverty.” It is a risk not make moves on what you heard, give the offering, sow that seed, invest in that skill acquisition training, go start that business, start that intercessory prayers for everyone, give that voluntary service etc and watch your upsurge momentum built gracefully.
5. Don’t use what you are not use to; whatever you are not use to prophetically will be waste of
time, energy and money and you will blame everyone for your failures. First Samuel
seventeen verse thirty seven to thirty nine; David said
moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the
paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And
Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. And Saul
armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also
he armed him with a coat of mail. And David girded his sword upon his armour,
and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it.
And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them
off him. The lesson here is, the more you engage what is of no prophetic use to your journey in life, the more you dissipate energy and undermine resource and lose necessary momentum to your upsurge experiences in life. So, you are prophetically permitted to test all spirit, but wisdom is disengage when it is not useful to avoid regrettable experience.
6. Always lookout for responsibilities and go for it; First Samuel
seventeen verse twenty two to twenty eight; “And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the
carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethren.” Don't be woe in Zion, refuse to wait for people to create opportunities for you and refuse to be a monologue Christian with a static and analogue mindset. We are called to a creative life through the mind of Christ, so ask the Holy Spirit to equip your spirit and soul to engage what eyes have not seen, ears have not heard and what has not entered in the heart of men prepared for you to activate and consolidate for your upsurge experience and that was exactly the that David thought them at the battle front against Goliath and the Philistine. The prophetic truth here is, we are created for responsibility and that makes us better, stronger and creative. So, if you cannot find any around you now, create a prophetic responsibility and not religious activity.
7. DON’T BE QUICK TO GIVE UP, Don’t Give Too Easily: Your upsurge experience is in your consistency, that is to be consistent in spiritual investments of what you saw and heard. Take note; if you are on divine or prophetic assignment, be prepared and firm because forces and traffics from all quarters will sure rise not just to hinder you, but also seek to stop you. However, if you know how this things works, most of the forces comes to test your faith and to see if you would pack up or give up your assignment, oppositions are largely your UPSURGE opportunity in disguise. Again, Whenever you miss it because of human factors, stand up and clean
up yourself and return back to God and move on and forward this time. See Genesis
twenty six verse fifteen to twenty one: For all the wells which his father's servants had digged in
the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled
them with earth. And Abimelech said unto Isaac, Go from us; for thou art much
mightier than we. And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the valley
of Gerar, and dwelt there.
And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of
Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of
Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had
called them. And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and
found there a well of springing water. And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with
Isaac's herdmen, saying, The water is
ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him.
And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name
of it Sitnah.
Second Kings five verse ten; Elisha sent a
messenger to say to
him, "Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan. Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the Lord had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy. However, supernatural lifting opportunity came for him to engage his healing, he almost lost it from the beginning, but then he got it right and was asked to go wash seven times, from the first attempt to the seventh was a huge and enormous process that built up to his healing testimony. He could have afforded to ignore or give up at the very first attempt or even at the fourth attempt, but he kept going until his upsurge healing experience. The lesson here is faith comes by consistency and when you do not give up, it will turn out well in your favour. Another prophetic example can be found here in First Kings eighteen verses forty one to forty four: And it came to pass at the seventh
time,
that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little
cloud ... And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare
thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee
not.
First Kings eighteen verses forty four to forty six-44-46 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee
up, eat and drink; for there
is a sound of abundance of rain. So Ahab went up to eat and to
drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon
the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up
now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he
said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the
seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the
sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. And it came to
pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and
there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the
LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the
entrance of Jezreel.
LAST NOTE: The righteous falls seven times and he will surely rise
again; my take; falling is not a bad experience but not rising. Also, I appreciate the provision for rising anytime and wherever, but
resources; time, energy and money will be under attack if not checked, age will be under duress
too. The wisdom is, don’t fall the second time in that same area of life where
you fell from and use your last fall as an experience or metaphor in other
areas of your life not to fall or permit falling. Word for the wise.
GREAT EXPERIENCE INDEED!
Again, thank You for being part of the UPSURGE Experience Series; you will experience UPSURGE in all endavours in Jesus name Amen.
GOD Bless you richly.
